Find a native Spanish speaker and practice Spanish for FREE via the Internet



Just as we only learn to ride a bike by doing it, so will we learn to speak Spanish through practice.





Step 2


Increase your Ability to Think in Spanish When you Correspond via Email: Via email, you can practice Spanish one-on-one with Spanish speakers in Spain and Latin America. You will write in Spanish and your study buddies will reply in English. You will have a chance to practice the vocabulary that you are currently learning by asking your study buddies questions such as "¿A qué hora desayunas?".

Step 3


Increase Your Ability to Converse in Spanish via the Internet: You can practice Spanish one-on-one with Spanish speakers in Spain and Latin America. You will speak in Spanish and your study buddy will reply in English. Spanish will come alive when you practice Spanish with others from Spanish-speaking countries.

  1. Fill out our free Edufone registration form and include your Skype name so others can call you.
  2. Purchase a headset with a USB connection or an Internet speaker phone, set up Skype, log in to Edufone to find Skype study buddies, then improve your conversational Spanish dramatically by practicing Spanish!
  3. You may also want to introduce yourself to the Edufone community in a short video. You may want to tell us your name and where you live in your native language and why you are learning Spanish. Then upload it to YouTube and then add the link to our upload video page.


We will soon be adding a bilingual video on how to use Skype to our webpage. In the meantime, there are video tutorials available on YouTube.


Are you suddenly at a loss of words when you start to have a conversation with your study buddy? If so, we recommend praticing the podcast dialogs with your study buddy. Our VERY affordable podcast text includes common phrases to practice with your study buddy.
