Resources for the Classroom
Spanish will come alive for your students when they form partnerships with students in another country!
Step 2
Increase Your Students' Ability to Understand Spoken Spanish via Podcasts: Listening to our top-rated podcasts for advanced beginner and intermediate students will increase your students' language comprehension and teach them new words and phrases. For example, if you're teaching a unit on Eating and Drinking/Restaurants, then click on the "Eating and Drinking" link from our podcast page. You will see a list of our podcasts on that topic as well as podcasts by other podcasters on that topic. Most lists include podcasts for students of many different levels. You may download each podcast and play the dialogs in your classroom (please give credit to the podcaster when you play the dialogs). Soon we will have RSS Feeds for podcasts by category and level so you can download all of the podcasts at one time.
This step will help prepare your students to have conversations with native Spanish speakers.
Step 3
Increase Your Students' Ability to Converse in Spanish via Email: Via email, your students can practice Spanish one-on-one with Spanish speakers in Spain and Latin America. Your students will write in Spanish and their study buddies will reply in English. Students will have a chance to practice the vocabulary that you are currently teaching by asking their study buddies questions such as "¿A qué hora desayunas?".

Step 4
Increase Your Students' Ability to Converse in Spanish via the Internet: Your students can practice Spanish one-on-one with Spanish speakers in Spain and Latin America. Your students will speak in Spanish and their study buddies will reply in English. All students will benefit and have fun while they form friendships with students from other countries.
Listen to our free podcast on how to use Skype to practice Spanish for FREE via the Internet.

Your students can email their Skype names to their study buddies. Then you can set up classroom time for the students to practice Spanish for free via the Internet. We will soon be adding a bilingual video on how to use Skype to our webpage. In the meantime, there are video tutorials available on YouTube.
- Students can work with their teachers to set up free Skype accounts.
- Purchase a headset with a USB connection or an Internet speaker phone and download and install Skype to your computer.
- Email your Skype name to your study buddy. Teachers can set up class time in a computer lab so your students can speak in Spanish to their study buddies via Skype, and their study buddies will reply in English (alternatively both people can speak in Spanish for 10 minutes and then in English for 10 minutes).
Step 5
Increase Your Students' Ability to Learn Spanish More Quickly: Your students can learn even more Spanish through the exercises or extra dialogs included in the members' versions of the podcasts.
Please contact us for rates for downloading the podcast text or members' versions of the podcasts for your class or school district. Because we want your students to learn, we guarantee affordable rates.
Step 6
