Before You Travel, Practice Spanish with a Native Spanish Speaker Who Lives in your Destination Country
Overcome Two Big Obstacles To Traveling Abroad: The Inability to Understand the Colloquialisms and the Inability to Understand the Accents of the People From the Country that You're Visiting. Practicing Now Will Ensure that You Have More Fun While You're Abroad.
Step 2
Learn the vocabulary specific to the country that you will be visiting from an email study buddy. Before your trip, practice Spanish with native speakers of the country that you'll be visiting via email. You'll write in Spanish and your study buddies will reply in English. You'll have a chance to ask questions about the country where you'll be living or visiting. You can also practice the vocabulary that you are currently learning by asking your study buddies questions such as "¿A qué hora desayunas?".

Step 3
Listen to our podcast and other podcasters' podcasts on Travel and other categories such as Eating and Drinking, and Shopping so you'll be able to order in restaurants and shop while you're abroad.
Step 4
Get Used to Hearing the Accent of the People in the Country that You're Visiting Converse in Spanish via the Internet: You can practice Spanish one-on-one with Spanish speakers in Spain and Latin America. You will speak in Spanish and your study buddy will reply in English. You will be better prepared for your trip by practicing conversational Spanish now.
